Chairman and Managing Director
Chairman and Managing Director Chris is responsible for the overall operation of the firm, as well as the management and development of client portfolios.
Chris’ community efforts have included serving as a United Way Loan Executive, membership in the Kirkwood Chamber of Commerce, Des Peres Rotary Club, along with board positions at the Shelter the Children and Buddy Fund organizations. He currently enjoys participating in the Habitat for Humanity CEO build day.
President and Managing Director:
President and Managing Director John M Johnson assists in the daily operations of the firm, while maintaining a primary focus on working directly with many of the firm’s clients.
Since joining Zemenick & Walker in 1991, John has played a key role in all aspects of the firm. His experience includes operations, equity and fixed income trading, portfolio construction, client relations, and tax and estate planning. One area of John’s expertise is investment management of pension funds for municipalities, police, and fire departments in Illinois.
